Position: SENIOR SYSTEMS JAVA PROGRAMMER
Education: Three years of College in Computer Science or related
Experience: Five (5) years
Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software for banking applications and E-Commerce. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Analyze, design, program and implement application on JAVA platforms, using the latest technology (JAVA 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and JAVA 2 Micro Edition (J2ME); PRO 5 and integration to "Legacy systems", will define computer system requirements to resolve business problems; analyze program and implement JAVA solutions and interfaces between the "legacy", UNIX and Windows applications; interview with users and staff to define computer systems requirements and to resolve problems. Supervise team and software programmers.
Special Requirements: Knowledge and experience in: BBx, BBj, Basis PRO5, JAVA, C# programming. Knowledge using J2EE and .Net application frameworks on financial systems, XSLT, Xenix, SCO Unix, Solaris and Linux, Oracle, TCP/IP and SNA protocols and XP (Extreme Programming) and UML methodologies. Proficiency in English and Spanish.
